Regional dinners now at Palatino

Whilst we are now (sadly) closed our regional dinners will continue at Palatino restauarnt in Clerkenwell.

 

The dinners will still take place on the final Tuesday of every month and cost around £35 per person to include four courses of food with antipasti and desserts shared across the table.

Rotorino to close

I’ve been running Rotorino now for 5 years and we've had a lot of fun, but it’s time to call it a day so I can really focus on my other projects.  I’m hugely grateful to the amazing team (who will all, I hope, continue to work for me) and to JD, Rick and Liam for helping to make it happen in the first place.

A special thanks to our amazing guests who have made the last five years such a joy and I wish the new occupants every success with the site. We’ve got a late license for the last few weekends so we’ll be open till the early hours.  So come and have your final Sicilian 65 and plate of sausage pasta, hope to see you there this year, or in one of our other places next year.

Our final regional of 2018 sees us head to Piedmont in the Northwest of Italy.  Piemontese cuisine is typified by rich, hearty flavours with plenty of local specialties, including Gorgonzola, game and of course, truffles.  Home to the Nebiolo grape there'll be plenty of Barbaresco & Barolo on offer during the night too...

We've put together the below menu for the night - we expect a full house so do book in early to avoid missing out.

Our annual Piemonte truffle dinners will take place over two nights on Tuesday 13th & Wednesday 14th November.

Head Chef Rich Blackwell has been sniffing out the season's best truffles and has put together the below menu for the night - there's no gimmicks or faux-fancy stuff - it's all about brilliant truffles and honest cooking of quality ingredients.
